Introduction to products, how to add them, and how to use them.
Products are shown when a member is booking a space. Members can choose any product from the list you provide and their quantity. Products can be anything from water bottles and other beverages to whiteboards or projectors.
Where to find:
- Login to operator.knowork.co.
- Click the Settings tab on the left sidebar. Then click Products in the dropdown menu to go to operator.knowork.co/settings/products.
Difference between internal and external products:
- Internal products are the products that you provide and have in your inventory. You can set the price for internal products. When a member buys this product, it is added to their invoice.
- External products are the products that external partners provide. When a member buys this product, it is not added to their invoice. Instead, the external partners are notified via email after each booking.
How to add an internal product:
- When on the Products page, click Create at the top right.
- Enter the Product's Name and Description.
- Toggle if you want this product to be public.
- Enter the price of the product before taxes. (Number)
- Enter the amount of the product you have in your inventory. (Use "0" for infinity)
- Click Create Product at the bottom right.
How to add an external product:
- When on the Products page, click Create at the top right.
- Enter the Product's Name and Description.
- Toggle if you want this product to be public.
- Toggle: This product is fulfilled by an external partner.
- Fill out the Partner Name field.
- Fill out the Partner Phone Number field.
- Fill out the Partner Email Address field.
- Click Create Product at the bottom right.
How to edit the product's details:
- When on the Products page, click the product you want to edit.
- Edit the details, then click Save Changes at the bottom right.
How to delete a product:
- When on the Products page, hover the mouse cursor on the product you want to delete.
- Click the recycle bin icon on the right of the row.
- In the pop-up, click Delete Product.
