Setting up your payments settings.
Where to find:
- Login to operator.knowork.co.
- Click the Settings tab on the left sidebar. Then click Payments in the dropdown menu to go to operator.knowork.co/settings/payments.
First, you will need to:
- Toggle if the payment settings are global or different for each location at the top.
- Global - every location has the same payment settings.
- Different for each location - every location has its separate payment settings. This is used when a coworking space manages multiple companies, is a reseller or is international. When a member books space in a location, the invoice data changes according to that location's payment settings.
- Select the Plan Billing Type from the dropdown menu:
- Bill to the end of the month: billings are calculated at the end of each month. The end date of a plan is the last day of the month.
- Bill based on plan settings: billings are calculated according to plan settings. The end date of a plan is calculated based on the plan's settings. The end date is on the same day as the starting day, next month.
If the payment settings are global:
- Locate Payment Settings card.
- Fill out the Tax Number field.
- Fill out the VAT / Tax rate field. (Percentage)
- Choose the Currency by clicking on the dropdown menu and selecting it.
- Fill out the Default payment deadline field. (Number of days)
- Fill out the Renewal reminder send date field. (Number of days)
- Fill out the Note field. (Shown on invoices)
- Toggle to send invoices before the due date automatically. (Optional, if turned off - send emails manually. To learn how to send invoices manually, please click here)
- Toggle to collect payments on the invoice date instantly. (Optional, to learn more about mandates, please click here)
- Locate the Billing Address card on the right of the Payment Settings card.
- Fill out the Name field. (Coworking business name)
- Fill out the Address field.
- Fill out the City field.
- Fill out the Zip field.
- Fill out the State field.
- Fill out the Country field.
- Click Save at the bottom.
If the payment settings are different for each location:
- Follow the steps listed above for every location.
