Mandates

Introduction to mandates.

The direct debit mandate permits taking payments from the customers' bank accounts. Direct debit mandates are the most-trusted method of collecting recurring payments. When a member makes their first purchase - the mandate is set for them. Before you can start collecting mandates, you will need to enable them first.

How to enable mandates:

  1. Login to operator.knowork.co.
  1. Click the Settings tab on the left sidebar. Then click Payments in the dropdown menu to go to operator.knowork.co/settings/payments.
  1. Locate Payment Settings card.
  1. Toggle to collect payments on the invoice date instantly.

Where to check if a member has mandates available:

  1. Login to operator.knowork.co.
  1. Click on the CRM dropdown on the left sidebar. Then click on the Members tab to go to operator.knowork.co/members.
  1. Locate and click on the member.
  1. Locate Mandates at the bottom of the right sidebar.

What happens when a member has mandates available:

  • When their plan is recurring - payment is collected on the day of the invoice.
  • When making a purchase - the payment is quicker.
